Making the most of his call up from the ECHL, New York Rangers prospect Zakary Karpa scored less than five minutes into his American Hockey League debut, helping the Hartford Wolf Pack skate past the Bridgeport Islanders 5-2 on Saturday night.
Zakary Karpa didn’t receive an entry-level contract with the New York Rangers, but he will play in the organization next season. Karpa signed a one-year AHL contract with the Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers’ affiliate in the American Hockey League, on Thursday.
As 2023 came to a close, several NCAA teams returned from the holiday break to continue their respective seasons which included many New York Rangers prospects.
