AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on March 1.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 833,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.27 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the February 22 episode, when 1,028,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.35 rating in the same demographic.

With the decrease in viewership, Dynamite dropped to third place in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, AEW Dynamite was only defeated by ESPN’s coverage of NBA basketball, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with Orange Cassidy defeating Big Bill to successfully defend his AEW All-Atlantic Championship. The close of the show saw a confrontation between Bryan Danielson and MJF to sell their Iron Man match this Sunday at AEW Revolution.
