According to a report from the Sun-Times, the Cubs placed Ryan Dempster on the 15-day DL with a fractured right big toe. No time table on how long Dempster will be out.
Kevin Hart was recalled from Triple-A Iowa just a day after being optioned down in favor of Angel Guzman.
