Found October 14, 2012 on IT IS HIGH, IT IS FAR, IT IS caught:
As you now know, this is the last time the Yankees will be in a meaningful playoff series for at least a decade.Several members of the Yankees have given their all, but do not have the talent, really, to be on a major league team, much less have again the opportunity to play in a meaningful post-season, major league game.  Others have battled their way back from injury, and others have indeed been valiant and heroic. We won't win with the overpaid failures we have been playing.  Derek is gone.  And our pitching will get no support from the $200 million guys.So here is what Joe should do, because he can't do worse and because it would show some character and compassion.  Not to mention, it would be his way ( and ours ) of saying, "thanks":1.  Third base - Eric Chavez2.  Second base - Jason Nix3.  Shortstop - Eduoardo Nunez4.  Catcher - the backup guy whose name I never learned ( I still wish it were Cervelli ).5.  Left Field - Ibanez6.  Centerfield _ Brett Gardener7....

'Sensitive' Swisher says Yankees fans blaming him for Jeter's injury

Nick Swisher is a lot of different things to a lot of different people — overrated agitator to opponents or pie-throwing cheerleader to his teammates. But one thing the gregarious New York Yankees slugger never thought he would be is an outcast with his beloved Bleacher Creatures out in right field. Now it looks like the crowd favorite is hearing things from the fans he's...

Yankees Injury News: Derek Jeter Shows No Sign of Injury

Derek Jeter had to be removed from Game Three of the New York Yankees division series victory over the Baltimore Orioles.  He left in the eighth inning after striking out and apparently re-aggravating the bone bruise that has been bothering him for weeks now.  However, he was able to play in Game Four, and last night he showed no ill-effects as the Yankees took down the Orioles...

Column: Day of reckoning had to come for A-Rod

(Eds: With AP Photos.) By TIM DAHLBERG AP Sports Columnist Joe Girardi should be manager of the year just for the guts it took to sit down his $275 million third baseman and help the New York Yankees advance a step closer to the World Series. Benching Alex Rodriguez might turn out to be the easiest move in a drama that is suitable for Broadway, but will play out instead in the Bronx...

Top 10 takeaways from Tigers - Yankees Game One

Seriously, Tiger Fan, Get On This 10) It's somewhat telling that many of the Yankee fans in my social media feeds posted after the Raul Ibanez tying home run in the ninth, but not after the final outcome9) If the Yankees' infield defense improves now that Derek Jeter is out for the year, it's all a testament to his leadership8) Somehow, it just seems really wrong that...

Can Yankees stars make up for the absence of Jeter in ALCS Game 2?

A Rainbow That's Missing One Color.

I was finally able to pick up a card I've had my eyes on for months, and it only reinforced how long it'll take me to actually complete this unique rainbow. For about five or six bucks, the newest Russell Martin for my collection arrived via eBay, complete with four lines of sweet stitching. If it looks at all familiar, that's because it's my fifth of these All-Star...
