TUCSON, Ariz. -- Trent Gilbert led a 17-hit attack, and Cody Hamlin pitched into the ninth inning to lead the Arizona baseball team to an 11-2 upset of seventh-ranked Oregon State on Saturday at Hi Corbett Field. Arizona (12-17, 2-6) evened the Pac-12 series with the Beavers as it claimed an early lead and never looked back, providing plenty of run support for Hamlin, who turned away the Beavers on several occasions and narrowly missed on his bid for a complete game. Hamlin (4-2) allowed just two runs and racked up a career-high eight strikeouts without a walk in 8.2 innings pitched. He picked up a pair of quick outs in the ninth, but consecutive doubles pushed across the final run and prompted the Wildcats to make their only pitching change of the game. Bobby Dalbec finished off the impressive victory to snap a streak of six-consecutive victories in Tucson for the Beavers. Gilbert ignited the offense with a two-run double in the first inning to drive in Joseph Maggi and Kevin Newma...
