I’m really glad I didn’t try to stay awake for last night’s game.  Eleven innings?  This girl doesn’t have it in her for any of that nonsense.  Especially since it was a loss.  Not quite as fun to wake up to that box score this morning. You know what else wasn’t fun?  Watching Jeff Baker limp off the field in the 1st inning after making a great sliding catch.   He’s been swinging the bat pretty well, so it’s a shame to watch him go out like that. I hope he’s not seriously injured. Nelson Cruz’ three-run home run in the 6th might have been the most fun part of the game.  And I actually saw that part of it.  I was almost asleep, but that woke me up for a few more batters.  It definitely gave me hope the boys might claw back and rally too as Cruz’ bomb brought the Rangers to a 4-3 deficit.  With three innings left, I felt like they could surely get the job done. Wrong. They tied the game up when Adrian Beltre came home on a David Murphy double play in the 8th.  But they couldn’t
