Tempers flared Wednesday at AT&T Park as the rival Padres and Giants got into a skirmish after Madison Bumgarner threw a pitch that went behind Jesus Guzman, resulting in the benches clearing.
Bumgarner allowed just a pair of solo homeruns while striking out eight over seven innings, and Gregor Blanco came up with a two run pinch hit triple in the seventh to cap the come from behind 4-2 victory.

Guzman got his revenge in the seventh inning by homering off of Bumgarner, and while he gave an emphatic high five to first base coach Dave Roberts, he did not go over the top in celebrating.
After falling behind 2-1, the Giants bench spurred a rally in the bottom of the seventh inning. Hector Sanchez followed a Tony Abreu ...

On Tuesday night Jesus Guzman hit a 2 run homer at AT&T Park to give the Padres a short lived lead over the San Francisco Giants. Hitting the HR was great. I mean, I thought it was great. I was excited. The problem with my excitement however was that it was more subdued than the excitement exhibited by Jesus Guzman as he broke into his HR trot.
Let’s break down this ugly display...
