Megan Welter was supposed to be the Arizona Cardinals’ feel-good story this pre-season. News broke earlier this week that the 28-year-old Cardinals cheerleader…

Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, who is also one of the best return men in football, has reportedly been receiving reps on offense.
Darnell Dockett is firmly entrenched as a starter on the Cardinals' defensive line, but he's involved in another interesting battle this week as training camp gets underway.
See, Dockett owns a tiger cub, because of course he does. He recently purchased this animal -- which he named "Buddy" -- after being rebuffed in his attempt to purchase a monkey, one he said...
The injuries continue to pile up for the Arizona Cardinals during this training camp. Rashard Mendenhall, who is expected to be the team’s starting tail back when the season gets under way, is experiencing tendinitis in his surgically-repaired knee.
Cardinals running backs Rashard Mendenhall and Ryan Williams are both out with
knee injuries, according to NFL.com's Chris Wesseling. Both are expected to
contribute to the backfield rotation in 2013. Mendenhall is reportedly suffering
from knee tendonitis and sat out Saturday’s practice. Williams has what is
being referred to as “an irritation to the fatty pad under...
An Arizona Cardinals cheerleader who also served in the Army in Iraq has been charged with assault on her boyfriend.
According to FOX 10 in Phoenix, 29-year-old Megan Welter was arrested on July 20 and charged with disorderly conduct, alleged assault and criminal damage.
The site reports that Welter told police she and her boyfriend went to a Scottsdale bar to celebrate her birthday...
The Cardinals got some good news on the injury front Tuesday when it was revealed that Dan Williams will only miss a few days of practice because of a leg injury. During today’s session of practice, Bruce Arians said that Williams has a sprained ligament in his right knee. To make matters worse, Williams also sprained his right ankle on Thursday.
I am little surprised this didn’t happen sooner.
You can’t be buying Pet Tigers, trying to get monkeys and think no one will notice. Not that Darnell Dockett was trying to hide it, but PETA has sent out this press release.
PETA has just sent letters to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and the Arizona Game and Fish Department urging them to investigate Arizona Cardinals...
Patrick Peterson is catching passes, throwing some and running with the ball during training camp.
No doubt about it, new Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians has plans for the dynamic player on offense.
In his first two NFL seasons, Peterson made the Pro Bowl as a punt returner, then as a cornerback. He remains a shutdown cornerback, first and foremost. And he still plans to return...
The tight end position is a mess for fantasy owners right now. Which is odd, considering that there are so many talented, pass-catching tight ends in the NFL.There might even be too many good tight ends. Many teams are now utilizing two tight ends on offense.Even if the tight ends are seeing more targets, they might be splitting them up between two different players.Getting elite...
Patrick Peterson has already established himself as a top-notch corner and return man, but can he really flourish on both sides of the ball?
The Cardinals sure plan to find out.
The Cardinals and head coach Bruce Arians plan to utilize Peterson’s talent on offense as well. Carson Palmer told the teams website that Peterson will indeed “have a package of offensive plays for...
In his first two NFL seasons, cornerback Patrick Peterson has showcased good ball skills, particularly great for a defensive player.Although some might be hesitant in giving Peterson an opportunity to play substantial snaps on offense, he offers a legitimate threat that should be used by head coach Bruce Arians in anyway they can. Peterson is Arizona’s top kickoff return and punt...
Tweet of the week is back after a one-week absence. This week’s tweet comes from Arizona Cardinals kicker Jay Feely. The 37-year-old believes he is getting “old,” and for good reason. He had this to say:
Feely is older than four of the Cardinals’ coaches.
Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson is one of the rare NFL talents that is a great player, regardless of where he lines up on the field. He’s one of the premier young defenders in the NFL, and he’s electric in the return game when the ball’s in his hands.
Now, it seems, the Cardinals are trying to find new ways to get his hands on the ball more often, and yes, that means...
GLENDALE, Ariz. The Cardinals' annual Red and White practice lacked some of the fire and flavor of past years. With his running back corps already down to three healthy players and his defensive line down to six, coach Bruce Arians opted for a normal practice with limited contact.
That didnt rule out some highlight plays and standout performances in front of an announced crowd...
