There are lots of rumblings that the Celtics are indeed trying to trade up in Thursday night's draft. Here is the latest one:

"Boston could be trying to trade up to No. 2 (Grizzlies), No. 3 (Thunder), No. 4 (Kings), No. 5 (Wizards), No. 9 (Raptors) or No. 11 (Nets). Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen are players they might be willing to trade. The Celtics don’t have a first-round pick." - NewsOK.com

Not exactly a "new" rumor, but there sure is a lot of smoke billowing seemingly from somewhere near Celtics' camp. If Ray's contract is involved, then a deal with the Nets could, theoretically, bring Vince Carter to Boston. Maybe the Perk/Walker deal really has been discussed with Memphis. And maybe there have been talks with Sacramento and/or Phoenix.

Danny has repeatedly said that he doesn't expect much to happen on draft night in regards to big trades. But, he has said that before, most notably in 2007. And we all know what happened that night.

So, the question is - What will Danny do?
