Former Cal quarterback Joe Ayoob had a disappointing college career, but he’s become notable for a world-record accomplishment achieved over the weekend. That’s right, Ayoob, the successor to Aaron Rodgers, teamed with TV producer John Collins on a paper airplane project. Collins folded a paper airplane that Ayoob launched 226 feet, four inches Sunday for a world record. Ayoob’s throw beat the previous record of 207 feet, 4 inches by 19 feet, but the previous record holder believes he can beat the new record. Ayoob played indoor pro football after his time at Cal and was invited for a tryout in the Arena Football League this year. He turned it down after becoming a full-time sales rep for Anchor Steam beer. Ayoob’s most notable accomplishment thus far is really cool. Come on, what kid wouldn’t be proud of throwing a paper airplane farther than anyone else?

This is why the NFL Combine is stupid for quarterbacks….look at these stats.  A few elite quarterbacks and a few duds….looking at the numbers you really cannot tell the difference.  According to the combine numbers, Akili Smith is the best of the bunch and Aaron Rodgers is terrible in the 3-Cone Drill.  In fact, the three worst guys at the 3-Cone Drill have super bowl rings...

Burning question: how do the Packers fix their pass defense?

From the right point of view, it seemed like the 2011 Green Bay Packers might be even better than the 2010 version that almost missed out on the last playoff spot in the NFC before catching fire in the playoffs and winning the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers was playing at an incredibly high level, and you could almost ignore that the defense was much more porous than it was in 2010...

Donald Driver To Join Dancing With the Stars

Clearly my first thought was Aaron Rodgers has perfected the discount double check move, how is he not dancing with the stars?  Then I thought about Greg Jennings being able to put the team on his back.  Donald Driver would have been my third pick from the Packers, but hey nobody is going to live up to Kurt Warner on the dance floor anyway.
