Only Yasiel Puig can get away with a premature, epic bat flip. Puig drilled a ball off Adam Wainwright in the fourth-inning that he thought had left the building, however it didn't clear the right field wall.
BEST OF MAXIM
Puig thought he hit a 4th inning home run off Adam Wainwright but the ball didn’t quite make it over the right-field wall. Puig still managed to turn the long fly ball into a triple. Brian McCann is not impressed!
Los Angeles Dodgers dancing diva Yasiel Puig prematurely pimped a blast he anticipated was leaving the yard for his first knock of the National League Championship series. Puig still managed to fist pump his way to a triple after the ball cairned off the outfield wall. Puig is definitely walking a fine line between swagger and stupidity.

LOS ANGELES-- The 2013 National League Championship Series has seen some of the best pitching -- and undoubtedly some of the worst hitting ever in the Major League Playoffs.
And even after the 3-0 win over the Cardinals to narrow the series to a 2-1 St. Louis lead, no Dodger player would tell you that they feel the offense is coming back to form.
"Not at all," said catcher...
After winning Game One and Two of the NLCS in St. Louis the Cardinals received a harsh reminder that there was another really good team in this series when the Dodgers shut them out 3-0 in Game Three Monday night in LA--and couple of the Cardinals are not real happy with how the Dodgers did it
Adam Wainwright wasn't too fond of either Gonzalez or Puig after...
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig had a sensational 2013 regular season. After a June callup, Puig set the baseball world on fire, posting an otherworldly .436/.467/.713 line in his first month. He didn’t maintain that pace, but still, at the end of the year, only Miguel Cabrera, Mike Trout, and Chris Davis could top Puig’s 160 OPS+.
He followed up his excellent...
Puig who was hitless in the NLCS, thought he had a homerun when he did this.
Yasiel Puig bat flip
It ended up being a RBI triple, but funny nevertheless

I’m not sure what the hell is happening in this GIF, but I’m loving every second of it. Yasiel Puig is the most entertaining player in baseball, even when he’s in the dugout.

St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright wasn’t thrilled following Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, and it wasn’t just because he took the loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Wainwright didn’t pitch poorly by any stretch of the imagination — he gave up just two runs over seven innings — but the Cardinals couldn’t push any runs of their own across...
A baseball team has a problem with the way another baseball team is celebrating. So what’s new?
This time the two parties involved are the Cardinals and the Dodgers, and it just so happens to all be magnified because it’s gone down in the NLCS.
So what’s the beef?
Well Adam Wainwright took exception to Adrian Gonzalez‘s celebrating, calling it ‘Mickey Mouse’:
Kevin Kernan put together an interesting piece earlier in the week in the New York Post on Dodger baseball phenom Yasiel Puig. In his first sentence, he speculates that Puig is ready for October baseball, but wonders whether baseball is ready for Puig.
He builds his piece around what he calls the ‘Puig Philosophy,’ an aggressive, hustling brand of baseball that has endured...
After Yasiel Puig showcased an epic (but premature) bat flip celebration in Game 3 of the NLCS against him on Monday, Adam Wainwright tried one of his own while at the plate in the top of the sixth inning. It was a little bit too aggressive, however, as the bat was flung all the way to the photographers pit just beside the Dodgers dugout. I know Wainwright isn’t paid to perform...
It doesn’t matter which MLB teams win their respective League Championship Series, this is the photo(shop) that is going to sum up the events that got them there. What a fantastic job by some brilliant soul on the Internet.

Alright, so I didn’t see this game – I was playing the best 18 holes of my life – so it’s hard to analyze it too much. The Dodgers find themselves in an 0-2 hole. I saw that Yasiel Puig struck out four more times.
The Dodgers, my playoff horse that I’ve strapped my oxcart to; are now facing a game three in Los Angeles against...
Dodger manager Don Mattingly says Puig plays with youthful enthusiasm of a little leaguer but with major ability.
The Los Angeles Dodgers bounced back in the NLCS at home with a solid pitching performance from left hander HYUN-JIN RYU and the return of HANLEY RAMIREZ to the lineup but it was the magnetic exploits of energetic rook YASIEL PUIG that ignited the Dodger Stadium crowd...
