Found March 29, 2013 on Celtics Life:
We all knew that Kevin Garnett's body was quite different from the rest of the world, but I could have never guessed that it would be this complicated to figure out what his injury is: According to Doc Rivers, it's a foot injury that happened against the Mavs. According to Danny Ainge, it's his ankle, and it happened against the Hornets. According to Danny Ainge (wait, haven't I already checked that?), it's his left foot and then some: "It's much better today than it was yesterday and I think he just could use some rest," Ainge said during his weekly appearance on Boston sports radio WEEI (93.7 FM). "On top of that, KG has just little nicks, bumps and bruises that could use some healing time. He's got a sore calf muscle as well. It's just good for him to take some time off and get fresh. But the biggest concern right now is the inflammation in his foot." So my take is that KG's left ankle and left foot has merged into a sin...

The New Age of Scouting

Despite the bitter playoff losses Celtics fans have suffered over the last 4 years, there's one thing we too often forget: this was only supposed to be a 3 year run. When Danny Ainge first assembled the Hall of Fame trio in Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen, the sporting world erupted in excitement over the sweeping "all-in" move. Apparently sacrificing the...

Ainge calls LeBron’s complaints about officiating “embarrassing”

You expect bloggers, fans and sports radio hosts to react to LeBron James’ whining about officiating. But an NBA general manager? Yesterday on WEEI, Danny Ainge joined the fray: “I think the referees got the calls right. I don’t think it was a hard foul,” Ainge said of the mixups involving James and Heinrich, as well as another one involving James and Taj Gibson. “I think...

Your Morning Dump… Where the Ainge/Riley feud is one step away from “Your momma” insults

In a recent interview on WEEI radio, Celtics GM, Danny Ainge, called LeBron James “almost embarrassing” for complaining about foul calls after Chicago snapped Miami’s 27-game winning streak. Heat President Pat Riley: “Danny Ainge Needs to Shut The F*ck Up”

I have always said that the Miami Heat are better when they embrace their inner nWo. Dwyane Wade is not afraid to be a bad guy and LeBron James has shown a little bit of his heel side coming out. So when Danny Ainge, GM of the rival Boston Celtics, decided to take a shot at LeBron for complaining about officials. Apparently, that comment rubbed Heat President Pat Riley wrong way...

After the Chicago Bulls ended the Miami Heat’s 27-game winning streak Wednesday night, LeBron James blasted the Bulls’ physical play, mostly in regards to hard fouls delivered by Kirk Hinrich and Taj Gibson: First of all, Kirk Hinrich in the first quarter basically grabbed me with two hands and brought me to the ground. The last one, Taj Gibson was able to collar me around my...

Pat Riley: Danny Ainge needs to STFU and manage his own team

Pat Riley issued possibly the statement of the year when he told Danny Ainge to shut the f— up and mind his own business. How long 'til LeBron complains about Boozer punching a ref in the crotch?

(Things Danny Ainge would say...) Bulls big man Carlos Boozer is punching everything that moves these days, including referee Dan Crawford. Though this time it was on a celebratory fist pump. Bonus?... Full story at Bob's Blitz ~ http://www.bobsblitz.com
