Jim RacaltoIn honor of Veterans Day and America’s Armed Forces,  Connecticut and No. 14 Michigan State will wear camouflage jerseys this coming Friday, in an early season college basketball matchup. The teams will play the Armed Forces Classic, which will be hosted at Ramstein Air Force Base in Ramstein, Germany. The camo jerseys will be accompanied by shorts, shoes, socks, and even shoelaces coated in camouflage, all made by Nike. It’s a great way for the players to get a taste of a different style of jersey but more importantly to honor the men and women who serve the country every year for everyone to see on national television. Here’s Michigan State’s take on the uniforms, from players and head coach Tom Izzo.   Sports-Kings - The Kings of Sports Lists

Darqueze Dennard: Michigan State’s number one corner

Darqueze Dennard has generally been an afterthought when discussing the Michigan State secondary. The first name to come up over the last few years has been Johnny Adams, a pre-season All-American that was projected as a first-round pick before the season begun. The second name to pop-up generally has been Isaiah Lewis, an extremely fast and hard-hitting junior safety. But...

This past Saturday I joined many Husker fans in driving up to East Lansing to see the Huskers take on Michigan State. I had  great time which was definitely helped by another thrilling Husker victory 28-24, led by Taylor Martinez. Michigan State's season of frustration

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio had never experienced four straight games that were decided in the closing seconds. And if he never again has to go through the frustrations of the past month, he won't miss it. A 28-24 loss to Nebraska was the latest dagger for the Spartans (5-5, 2-4 Big Ten), who have dropped four league games by a total of 10 points. Michigan State, heading...

Saturday Yielded a Pathetic, Yet Amazing College Football Flop

Michigan State’s Johnny Adams may be my least favorite player after seeing this video, or he may be my favorite. I am torn as to whether I should hate or love this guy for trying to perfect the art of soccer flopping. Check out Adams having it out with Nebraska’s Kenny Bell and then doing his best acting impression which is award worthy. Ridiculous. H/T Hot Clicks via Athlon...
