It's the inaugural Michigan State-Nebraska Big Ten conference game. The Huskers are having a one-loss season, but I don't think you'll find more disparate fan bases of one-loss teams than the Huskers and Spartans. Nebraska fans seem less than rosy on their odds tomorrow.

Even when Nebraska lost to Wisconsin in their Big Ten opener there was a big opportunity to get into the Championship Game for a rematch. Nebraska just needed to win and it wouldn’t have hurt to have some teams beat themselves, but that hasn’t happened. Huskers get ready to host the “leader” in the Legends Division this weekend, Michigan State.

The Michigan State volleyball team (17-6, 6-5 Big Ten) closes out its homestand with a 6:30 p.m. contest on Saturday, Oct. 29 against No. 11 Purdue (18-3, 7-3 Big Ten) inside Jenison Field House. The contest will have live video streamed on the Big Ten Digital Network at BTN.com. John Kreger (play-by-play) and Andrea Nelson (color analyst) will be on the call.
