Mississippi State’s new uniforms mimic Crimson Tide If you dress like Alabama, will you play like Alabama? Photo: Mississippi State Athletics. Some say the best form of flattery comes with imitation. If that is the case, Mississippi State may have chosen a good program to imitate when it comes to their new uniforms. The Bulldogs revealed their new home and road uniforms Thursday and my first impression was that they looked strikingly similar to uniforms already worn by Alabama, or even Arkansas. The new uniforms, designed and provided by Adidas, feature white pants and a marron jersey complete with a Mississippi State name across the front of the jersey and white number. The helmet comes in the same home jersey color, with a white stripe down the middle and Mississippi State logo on the sides. De'Vante Scott was the first commitment for the 2013 signing class for Coach Dan Mullen and Mississippi State. Throughout the process Scott has remained true and has not entertained other offers from other programs. Familiar Face in a Familiar Place

West Point High School won a pair of state titles with Justin Cox under center. Following his All-Star career, Cox signed with Mississippi State only to have to take the scenic route through East Mississippi Community College.
