Well, just when you think you’ve heard your final whiff about Terrell Owens begging for a job, you hear yet another story.

We all know the story by now of Terrell’s famous tweet begging the Jets to give him a call as they were getting beat by the Houston Texans, resulting in the NFL world calling him desperate.

Apparently Owens was hanging out with the Los Angeles Clippers this summer, and begged that team for a job, too. This according to Clippers star Blake Griffin.

“Terrell Owens is always — he was at our practice facility this summer, begging coaches for a 10-day contract,” Griffin said on the Dan Patrick Show via ProFootballTalk.

While Griffin added that Owens could “play a little bit” his demeanor didn’t say as much. Owens is 39 and hasn’t played a regular season game in the NFL since 2009, so it’s safe to say that he’s done in the league. The Seahawks however did give him a chance and he didn’t make the final roster.

We’ve seen Terrell play ball in several NBA All Star weekend celebrity appearances and he looks like he has a little game, but let’s not forget when he got handled by a 4′ 5″ streetballer.

Seeing as how the Clippers never gave him a chance, he might not make it in the NBA, although the Lakers are looking like they can use a little help.
