The BCS system is far from perfect, and 2012′s bowl decisions will give its detractors plenty of added ammunition. The problem this year has nothing to do with the national championship but instead is centered around Northern Illinois of the Mid American Conference getting one of the at-large bids to play in the Orange Bowl.
