PLAYERS: Billy Donovan
TEAMS: Florida Gators
Zach Hodskins is a deadly shooter from three. He shot over 60 % from downtime last season. You would think with that the senior from Georgia would have a ton of scholarship offers rolling in, but he doesn’t . The main reason is because Hodskins only has one hand. You will see in the video below that Hodskins has plenty of game. Billy Donovan is one of the best coaches in the country and he has offered Hodskins a spot on the Florida Gators as a preferred Walk On and he has not accepted that offer. Though he will have to pay his way to school he will be guaranteed a spot on the team. “It’s always been my dream growing up,” Hodskins said. “I never expected it to be like this, but the hard work has paid off. I’m ecstatic I’m going to be a Florida Gator.” “I’m coming on as a preferred walk-on, but I’ll be treated like every other player,” Hodskins said. “If I work hard, Coach Donovan told me I’ll have a chance to play.” Here is video of Hodskins, I would take him on my team. Florida head coach needs a turnaround

The Florida Gators are sitting in a highly undesirable position, as they have accrued their third loss on the season courtesy of a 36-17 road defeat suffered at the hands of the Missouri Tigers. Gators limp into bye week seeking health, solutions

GAINESVILLE, Fla. --If he coached in the NFL, this is the sort of week Gators coach Will Muschamp would scan the waiver wire for help. Maybe call up a recent retiree and see if he had anything left. Talk to the general manager about a potential trade. This isn't the NFL. So on Sunday morning, the day after the Gators lost back-to-back games for the first time since 2011, Muschamp...

With a Week Off Before Georgia, The Florida Gators Need an Offensive Rebirth

The Florida Gators don’t play this Saturday. Some of you may actually be breathing a sigh of relief knowing that. I am with you. I need a break, and I’m just a fan. The players need a week off, Will Muschamp and Brent Pease need an extra week to determine the direction they’re going to head...

It is time

Any thought of an SEC Eastern Division title is long gone now as Florida finds itself technically three games down to Missouri in the division. With that in mind, it is now time to start working for the future. The Gators have been slow to play younger guys, but with so many issues going on, they need an infusion of talent and depth. We'll take a look at one man's opinion on the subject.

Injury list still lengthy for Florida

Billy Donovan started preseason practices later than most teams, hoping to give guard Eli Carter and forward Will Yeguete as much time as possible to heal.
