PLAYERS: Scott DixonWill Power
During the last round of pit stops during Sunday's GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma, Will Power and Scott Dixon entered the pits at the same time. After changing tires, Dixon took off as Travis Law, a crew member for Power's car, was carrying a tire away from the pit. Dixon's rear tire clipped Law's handheld tire as he strolled (yes, strolled) out of the pit area and sent it flying into Law and Law into another crew member. Both men fell to the ground in a scary-looking moment, but eventually got up under their own power. Eventually Power took the checkered flag. Later, Dixon claimed Law was taking one for the team by purposely standing in front of his car in order to slow him down. It's never a bright idea to go one-on-one with a half-ton IndyCar but, once again,  it looks like someone fought the Law and the Law won.

Bump-and-run costly in Indy race

Gamesmanship? Carelessness? Take your pick for whatever it was, but what happened in the pits during Sunday's IndyCar event at Sonoma Raceway meant Will Power won and Scott Dixon lost. The down and dirty: Dixon nailed one of Power's pit crew members as he exited, sending him flying and knocking down another crew member -- not to mix sports, but it looked a lot like picking...

Did Indy car driver Scott Dixon purposely hit an opponents’ pit crew?

IndyCar: Controversial Call Could be Nail in the Coffin for Scott Dixon

Sonoma, CA- Scott Dixon looked like he would be a huge threat for the 2013 Izod IndyCar Series championship entering pit road for his final pit stop on Sunday afternoon. Dixon led 27 laps prior that that point and had the car to beat. Helio Castroneves on the other side had a decent car but if they finished how they were running Dixon would have only been eight points out of the...

The GoPro Grand Prix, Now With 100% More Dudes Getting Run Over

“Ouch.” My only regret is that somebody got hit by a car at the GoPro Grand Prix and nobody got it from his POV. IndyCar drivers Scott Dixon and Will Power (if that is his real name) pitted at the same time, nose-to-tail. When Dixon pulled out to speed off, he took out two of Power’s crew as he passed. Of course, the sensational headline is SCOTT DIXON PURPOSEFULLY DROVE OVER...
