Spartan Stadium may soon have new scoreboards. Michigan State University administrators will ask the Board of Trustees Friday for approval to begin the planning process on an $8 million upgrade to the stadium's scoreboards and sound system, university spokesman Kent Cassella said in an e-mail to the Free Press.
