The Pittsburgh Steelers claimed former Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday. Wilson originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He spent three seasons in Atlanta and was waived prior to the start of the 2012 season. Wilson was signed to the Jaguars practice squad in early September of last season. He bounced between their 53 man roster and practice squad in Jacksonville and ended the 2012 season on their 53 man roster. He was waived by the Jaguars on Wednesday.
