Dodgers Locker:
The Dodgers have designated 38-year old righty swinging infielder Juan Castro for assignment. Castro played in 7 games for the Dodgers this year and he was 4 for 14 (.286 avg, .619 OPS) with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. He played in 277 games in parts of 8 years with the Dodgers and he was 116 of 561 (.207 avg, .530 OPS) with 64 runs scored, 3 homers, 33 RBIs and 1 stolen base. This is really no loss for the Dodgers as Castro never really played that well for them.
