Tiger Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, has been arrested on drunken driving charges in suburban New York. Police say Steinberg was stopped during a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night in Ardsley and arrested on DWI and aggravated DWI charges. Sgt. David Fisher says Steinberg, who told authorities who he was, was arrested after he was issued a field sobriety test. Police say his blood alcohol content was .18 percent. The legal limit in New York for DWI is .08 percent. Steinberg did not immediately respond to an email requesting comment Sunday, the day Woods won the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio.

Tiger Woods’ chip-in at 16 was just marvelous

Video: Tiger Woods hits amazing flop shot on 16

Now, THIS looks like the old Tiger Woods. This flop shot on 16 gave Tiger the inside track on the win at the Memorial. His reaction was vintage Tiger Woods. Like they say, “these guys are good.” Rev up the “Tiger Woods is back” articles and blog posts.

Tiger Woods' Chip-In at Memorial Called 'Most Unbelievable, Gutsy Shot I've Ever Seen' by Jack Nicklaus (Video)

Tiger Woods' victory at the 2012 Memorial Tournament is defined by one big shot. Woods chipped in for birdie from the thick rough at the 16th hole during the final round. It was an incredible shot that had golf fans' jaws hitting the floor. Among the most amazed, however, was the man who hosts the annual tournament and whose 73 PGA Tour wins were matched by Woods on Sunday...

Tiger's ailing, but his game's just fine

Tiger Woods is sick, hacking constantly into his golf towel, but neither being under the weather nor having to endure miserable weather could dampen his spirits on Friday. Not when he had command over his golf ball in a manner eerily similar to, dare it be said, his best. Woods finds himself just one stroke off Rory Sabbatini's lead going into the weekend at the Memorial, a...

Tiger chips in for birdie on way to victory

Tiger Woods won his second tournament of the season on Sunday with a win at Muirfield Village Golf Course in Dublin, Ohio and ties Jack Nicklaus for second-most career PGA Tour victories. Woods won the Memorial for the fifth time with a final round of 5-under-par and an overall score of 9-under to win by two shots over Andres Romero and Rory Sabbatini. This is Woods 73rd Tour title...

Tiger Woods sinks amazing chip shot on 16 en route to victory at the Memorial (Video)

Tiger Woods is now tied for second all-time in PGA Tour wins with Jack Nicklaus at 73 after his final-round comeback victory at the Memorial Tournament on Sunday. But it’s safe to say Tiger wouldn’t get this win — his second this year — if it wasn’t for the shot you see above, his incredible chip-in birdie on the par-3 16th. Down two strokes with three holes left to play...

Tiger Woods wins the Memorial

With a remarkable rally even by his standards, Tiger Woods birdied three of his last four holes to win the Memorial on Sunday and match tournament host Jack Nicklaus with his 73rd title on the PGA Tour. Woods was one shot behind and looking at probable bogey in deep rough behind the 16th green when he chipped in from 50 feet for birdie to tie for the lead. In the group behind him...

Tiger is back - at least for now

Tiger Woods needed only two words to explain where the Memorial fits in on his road back from wherever he was to wherever he is going. ''I won,'' he said. When trying to chart his progress, golf becomes a lot like watching tennis. He wins at Sherwood, and then can't shake Robert Rock in Abu Dhabi. Phil Mickelson blows him away at Pebble Beach, and then Woods...

Tiger wins Memorial in dramatic fashion

I guess we can put a stop to those stories about whether Tiger can come back. Today’s win was vintage Tiger Woods, and now he has momentum heading into the US Open in a couple of weeks. Dust off the Tiger Woods highlight reel and add another jaw-dropper, this one near the very top. From a downhill lie, to a green running away from him, and with a wall of water lurking if he went...

Tiger Boosts Overnight Ratings For The Memorial

Tiger Woods continues to move the needle like no other on the PGA Tour. Final round coverage of the PGA Tour The Memorial drew a 3.8 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, up 138% from rain-affected coverage last year (1.6), and up 19% from a 3.2 in 2010. The 3.8 is the highest for final round coverage of the event since 2004, when Woods finished third and Ernie Els won the event...

Fowler left behind by Woods' surge at Memorial

On the first hole of Sunday's final round of the Memorial, Rickie Fowler poured in a 14-foot birdie putt. The gallery - a sizable portion of which was clad in neon-bright orange just like Fowler - went crazy. The fans screamed his name and applauded madly as they stomped off to the second tee. Marshals had to quiet the crowd down: It seemed that Fowler's playing partner...

Tiger Woods, LeBron James Work Their Way Toward Redemption With Vintage Performances

Men cheat on their wives. It happens. People also run their mouths, or say things that sound insensitive to entire cities. If these figures are athletes, this seems to happen much more frequently. So, why was everyone so upset at Tiger Woods and LeBron James in their respective implosions over the past few years? One part of the answer is because they were Tiger Woods and LeBron...

42-Year-Old Teaching Pro Qualifies for U.S. Open on Excruciating Final Putt

One of the great quirks about golf's U.S. Open is that it truly is 'open.' Anyone who holds the status of a PGA professional, or has a United States Golf Association handicap index of 1.4 or better and $150 for an application fee is welcome to come out and try to make it through two sections of brutal qualifying rounds in an attempt to tee it up with Tiger Woods and Rory...
