PLAYERS: Tony Romo
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys

These photos provided by @LK419 shows Tony Romo in an awful uniform practicing with his Indoor Soccer Team.  It appears Romo, who they said suffered a broken rib during the final game of the season against the Redskins is doing just fine. Romo has a lot of outside interests beyond football.  He is a pretty good golfer and has a new born baby. Nothing wrong with getting some off-season activities in, not like the Cowboys are in the playoffs or anything.

Many were shocked, to say the least, after former DC Rob Ryan was fired by owner Jerry Jones. There are now reports that Jerry Jones wants Jason Garrett to stop calling plays for the offense. This was reported by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio:   According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, owner Jerry Jones is pushing coach Jason Garrett to relinquish play-calling duties. Per Mort...

Cowboys cover 2? Monte Kiffin candidate for defensive coordinator

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin’s name has surfaced as a possible replacement for the departed Rob Ryan, according to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com. Jerry Jones is looking to change defensive philosophies from a 3-4 to a 4-3, but the move may back fire and be more costly than good. Kiffin is known for the ‘Tampa 2’ defense, basically a 2 safety...

Report: Cowboys owner Jones wants to limit Garrett's duties

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones wants head coach Jason Garrett to relinquish his offensive play-calling duties, ESPN reported Saturday. The Cowboys finished 8-8 this season and missed the playoffs. They are 21-19 in two years under Garrett, who has faced criticism for his clock management. Jones also reportedly wants Garrett to fire his brother, John, who...

No Surprise, Larry Allen is a Hall of Fame Finalist

If you want a lock for a first time ballot NFL Hall of Famer, look no further than Larry Allen. Allen just made it to the finalist list, and should be a lock for being voted into the HOF. This is a nomination I have been waiting for and the moment is almost here for Cowboys Nation, he is the best offensive lineman in the history of the Cowboys franchise and he’s a top 5 all-time...

He will not have surgery for that problem now, but that remains an option for later...

Cowboys would reportedly move DeMarcus Ware to defensive end in a 4-3

If the Dallas Cowboys end up hiring Monte Kiffin as their next defensive coordinator, they would then have to switch their base defense from a 3-4 to a 4-3. According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Cowboys are confident that DeMarcus Ware can play defensive end and Sean Lee can play middle linebacker. I honestly think Ware would be better as an end than he’s been as a linebacker, wheres...

Cowboys will likely let Anthony Spencer walk in free agency

ESPN’s Ed Werder reported on SportsCenter that the Dallas Cowboys will likely let linebacker Anthony Spencer walk in free agency. Spencer had a great season in 2012, with 11 sacks, but now that the Cowboys are switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3, he’s no longer a fit for them.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script...
