OfficialCelticsHD posted the above video to YouTube, which shows Fab Melo's 14 points (6 dunks) during the Maine Red Claws' victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Fab Melo and Kris Joseph were sent to the D-League to get some playing time, and Kris Joseph was impressive both in today's game (23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals) as well as Friday night when he scored 28 points in the Red Claws' season opener.
Also of note, former Celtic JaJuan Johnson is currently playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, and only had 4 points in tonight's game. Full box score below.

What Rondo has done so far this season has been nothing short of incredible
By now it's pretty well known that Rajon Rondo is on a historic run in the assist department. In fact, if Rondo can pick up ten helpers tonight, it will mark the 37th consecutive game he has done so, tying him with John Stockton for the 2nd longest streak in NBA history. Impressive, but also not breaking...
Jason Terry wore a pair of retro Rebook Iverson Answer IV’s last night in the Celtics win over the Thunder. The Answer IV is the same model AI wore while stepping over Celtic’s coach Tyronn Lue in the 2001 playoffs. Terry has been doing a lot to bring “Reebok Back” in Boston. This colorway of the Answer IV release a few months back and sold out quickly. You can still...
Last night Jason Terry hit a buzzer beating three pointer to give the C's a 48-45 lead at halftime. With 3:27 to go in the 4th he nailed a big jumper to help fend off OKC's rally, and keep the Boston lead in double digits. At the 2:28 mark he knocked another 3 that would have extended the Celtics lead to 10, but it was waived off because of a foul away from the ball....

Ouch Paul, very ouch. One of the worst crossover broken ankles I've seen in a very long time. Jameer Nelson made a little head fake on Paul last night and Pierce bit hard, really hard. He fell strait backwards and his right leg bent behind him and got trapped under his body. Pierce would stay in the game and end up dropping 23 points (Jameer had 20.) The Celtics also...

Paul Pierce has done this a million times. Early in games, late in games, in the middle, it does not matter when. Pierce knows exactly how to finish things off and how to brush off any failures. When he stepped into a wide-open 3-pointer with 2:10 left in overtime to break a 108-108 tie, it was old hat for him.
For the Magic, it is not quite second nature to win these close games...

Some notes from today's practice courtesy of Twitter.
Both Kris Joseph and Fab Melo were present at practice today. Kris was on the court with the team but Fab was there to work out and to observe. Fab didn't practice with the team because Doc didn't want reps taken away from other bigs. Neither has been called up but just in for practice and will return to Maine...
