Busy Weekend for Thompson Boxing Prospects: A team of undefeated Thompson Boxing Promotions prizefighters descends upon Southern California boxing cards on back-to-back nights including three undefeated Colombian prospects and two fast-rising Inland Empire fighters. Colombia's Jhonatan "Momo" Romero (19-0, 12 KOs) and Chris Avalos (19-1, 15 KOs) open the heavy-duty fight card on Friday, December 2, at Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California. The two super bantamweights will open the Anthony Dirrell vs. Renan St. Juste "ShoBox: The New Generation" main event fight with a bang. Romero, 24, is a former eight-time Colombian National champion and a former 2008 Olympian. He'll be facing knockout punching Avalos in a bout set for 10 rounds.
