Virginia Tech transfer Dorian Finney-Smith will take a visit to the University of Memphis later this afternoon. Finney-Smith most recently visited Iowa State after spending three days in Louisville last week. Finney-Smith is the second transfer to visit Memphis in two weeks. The Tigers hosted Mississippi State transfer Rodney Hood last Tuesday. Memphis didn’t appear to be on the radar for Finney-Smith over the past few weeks. However, it looks like coach Josh Pastner is making a late push. When the 6-7 forward left Louisville last Tuesday, he and his mother made it clear that Louisville was the team to beat. Although he had a scheduled visit to Iowa State, Florida and Louisville appeared to be the leaders for Finney-Smith. A visit to Texas was rumored to be in the works, but at this point, he hasn’t made plans for a trip. I’m not exactly sure how it happened, but Louisville doesn’t appear to be in as good of shape with Finney-Smith as they were last week. I wouldn’t say Louisville ...
