Prosper Karangwa is ex-Siena basketball stud from the early 2000’s. Prosper and his name were way ahead of his time, he should be on the St. John’s team right now with God’s Gift Achiuwa and Sir’Dominic Pointer. Prosper at 6-7 played shooting guard, and gradually improved every season. His Freshman year he only played in 8.7 mpg but averaged 4 points a game with a 3PT% of 45.2 (career high). The next season his minutes and ppg doubled and he became a solid role player for the Saints.
As a Junior he averaged nearly 20 minutes and scored 11 ppg with 3 apg and 3.7 rpg. Prosper had his most prosperous season his Senior year, in 34.5 mpg he averaged 16.6 ppg, 4.9 apg, and 6.4 rpg. Unfortunately Prosper was undrafted and didn’t make the NBA, but his career didn’t come to an end, he was able to play overseas.
Prosper Karangwa played eight seasons abroad. He played for the:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â BS Energy Braunschweig
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Kapfenberg Bulls
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Jeanne d’Arc de Vichy Val d’Allier Auvergne Basket
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Paris Levallois Basket
If you’re not a European Basketball expert, that’s in Syria, Germany, Austria, and France.
Prosper is now Founder and CEO of Global Scouting Service, a company dedicated for scouting and recruiting college players to Europe. They mainly target players  from the Big East, MAAC, America East, Atlantic 10.
If Siena star O.D Anosike doesn’t get drafted I’m sure Prosper could help him out.
