Despite making his decision between LSU and Florida, Patrick Peterson (then Patrick Johnson) soured on the Gators not long after selecting the place he would play football. Peterson chose the Tigers with every intention of enrolling early. Questionable ACT scores would put his eligibility in question. The multi-talented cornerback and returner was one of the nation's best high school athletes. He was coveted by many, but only one school would be able to land him. When LSU received his commitment, they knew they had something special and they were right. Peterson would go on to become a great player for the Tigers and is currently in the NFL. But despite his play on the field, we'll always remember when Peterson called Florida cowards.
