PHOTO: USA Today Sports They don't call it the "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry" for nothing. Strange things tend to happen when Auburn and Georgia get together. In 2005, a fumble set up an Auburn win. In 2002, David Greene competed a 4th and 19 for a TD and a Georgia win. And then there was the deflection of 2013.... Auburn came out and simply dominated this game. The Tigers took a 37-17 lead in the fourth quarter with 12:39 left to play. Georgia was all but dead. Aaron Murray summoned the football God's and led the Bulldogs to an improbable comeback scoring three consecutive TDs. Murray hit Rantavious Wooten for a five yard TD, then he hit Arthur Lynch for a 24 yard TD and finally he ran it in from five yards out on 4th down to give Georgia a 38-37 lead with 1:49 left on the clock. Auburn got the ball back but struggled to move the football and were forced into a 4th and 18. Nick Marshall heaved the ball downfield and Georgia's Josh Harvey-Clemons and Tray Matthews deflected the pass and it landed perfectly in Auburn's Ricardo Louis's hands and he raced into the end zone untouched for a 73 yard TD that was one of the craziest plays in the history of college football. Lady luck is clearly on Auburn's side this season.
