Penn Live With two weeks until National Signing Day, Syracuse has received a huge boost with the renewed commitment of quarterback Austin Wilson. When Doug Marrone and Nate Hackett left for Buffalo the East Pennsboro (PA) signal caller was thrown for a loop. He called the situation “stressful” and a “shock to the system,” and Wilson needed to hear reassurance from the new assistants that SU was still the right move. He got that from a conversation with new quarterbacks coach Tim Lester, and tweeted, “Feel a lot better now that I finally got to talk with my new QB coach! We’re gonna do big things #believeit.” While Wilson wasn’t placed on the same pedestal as Zach Allen, who turned to TCU, he’s still an important piece of the Orange puzzle. The quarterback situation is unsettled, with plenty of opportunity over the next two years to compete for the starter’s slot. If Ashton Broyld is not a future signal caller (and to this point it seems the staff is uncomfortable with him running th...

Syracuse guard Michael Carter-Williams is a stud. The 6'6" sophomore is projected to go 11th in NBADraft.Net's latest mock draft, and he gave us a pretty idea of why in No. 3 Syracuse's 57-55 victory over No. 21 Cincinnati on Monday. Carter-Williams had 16 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in the win. Two of his points came in fancy fashion on this spectacular dunk: Oh, and

Syracuse’s Michael Carter-Williams monster jam

Syracuse point guard Michael Carter-Williams leads the nation in assists, but in the Orange’s two point win over Cincinnati he showed off his dunking ability. At 6’6” Williams is a stat sheet stuffer at the point guard position. You have to wonder how he barely played last season. Now as for the dunk Williams beat his defender at the three point line and drove the lane. No...
