At the beginning of the season when Baylor fans looked at their football schedules they saw three easy wins before facing three tough Big 12 teams.

As it turns out the third matchup may not be a sure thing now that Louisiana-Monroe defeated Arkansas and took Auburn the distance in overtime.

As it stands now Baylor is only favored to win by a touchdown and the Warhawks look to show that a Sun Belt can play with the big boys.

College football fans might want to take a second look at their local listings because this game might have some surprises in store.

Bold Prediction No. 1: Expect the crowd to make a difference. Monroe Stadium should be filled with Warhawk students and alumni who are surprised to hear their team name on national broadcasts.

Sun Belt conference teams don't get a lot of play on TV and radio especially early in the season when big-time conference players use the teams as "preseason" tune-ups.

The Warhawks have been able to go out and play a couple of tough SEC teams, so you can expect their crowd to show up and rattle the big bad Bears of the Big 12

Bold Prediction No. 2: Lache Seastrunk will have his coming out party. The Sophomore tailback has not had much participation in the Bears first two games. But four carries for 54 yards show the Temple natives tremendous upside.

ULM was able to shut down Arkansas in rushing yards but then gave up 256 yards against Auburn. If Baylor is able to have an effective game on the ground it will open up Art Briles' explosive pass offense.

Coach Briles has nothing but good things to say about Seastruck and looks forward to getting him more carries. With Baylor going into three straight conference games against top 25 teams look for Briles to get his backfield primed and ready.

Bold Prediction No. 3: If your a betting man (or woman) take the under. these teams are expected to rack up yards and points with quarterbacks Nick Florence (Baylor, 2-0, 653 yds, 7 TD's, 2 INT's) and Kolton Browning (ULM, 1-1, 649 yds, 6 TD's, 1 INT) under center. The 68.5 over/under shows that the odds-makers are waiting for a high-scoring game.

You better believe that coach Briles has seen the amount of points that ULM has put up against SEC teams, teams that are supposed to have the best defenses in the country.

Baylor should look to score early then get their run game going. This should give ULM less time to shock the Bears. It will also give the Bears a chance to fine tune the run before starting conference play.
