Baylor was not expected to compete in the much improved Big 12, but their offense looks like they won’t be far off from one season ago. Everybody questioned how much they would drop post-RGIII, but Nick Florence is an experienced leader that has the weapons around him to make the Mountaineers look overrated. The issue in this matchup will be defense because these two may combine for close to 80 points. Last weekend both defenses were ripped apart and nothing may honestly change. West Virginia was a top 10 team, but with their defense they could lose two or three games down the road. The defensive front could not get nearly enough pressure, and the secondary has been brutal allowing several big plays down the field. WV has gained just 6 turnovers on defense through four games, and that number better grow or else they will eventually stub their toe.
