Forgive me, I was watching ESPN earlier today. Pardon the Interruption was on, the duo was in Seattle, during a tornado. Anyway, the "Mail Time" segment came up, and one of the questions dealt with the recent success of the Boston Celtics. It went a little something like this:
"Can the '07-'08 Boston Celtics start off better than the 1996 Bulls who went 41-3?
Can they get more than 72 wins?"
Pathetic, I'm sorry, Boston you've been blessed with the Red Sox and Patriots, but the Bulls record is safe. It will be safe for a very long time. I want one person to try to argue that the group of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett is better than the group of Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Michael Jordan. Just try arguing that. Please, shut up and cheer for your Celtics. They haven't played anyone yet. 5-0 is good, but play someone out in the Western Conference. Heck, just play the 3 teams in Texas, then get back at me.
