The Buckeyes got off to a bit of a rough start. Although Ohio State went up 7-0 after Bradley Roby took a Taylor Martinez the other way for a pick-six, but the Scarlet & Gray didn’t look particularly sharp in the first quarter. They went three-and-out during their first three possessions and they ended the first quarter trailing 14-7. Ohio State scored a TD on each of their four second quarter possessions and the Buckeyes  proved just too much for the Cornhuskers. Carlos Hyde rushed for four scores, Braxton Miller broke his own record for rushing yards from a QB (186) and Philly Brown returned a punt 71 yards for a TD, helping the Buckeyes pull away late.
