1. The Michigan Wolverines have become the most overated team in the country. Denard Robinson had 227 total yards with two INTs against Alabama, while having only 138 yards passing with four INTs against Notre Dame.

Michigan started out the season at No. 8 in the nation. The Wolverines have a 2-2 record with one game in which they squeezed out a six point win against Air Force. It's amazing how good teams can look on paper before the season.

2. LSU's QB Zack Mettenberger doesn't look like he can take LSU to the promise land. Mettenberger looked very shaky in his first SEC road game against a below average Auburn Tiger team.

LSU has South Carolina, Florida, and Texas A&M in the next four weeks to play. I wouldn't put Mettenberger on my fantasy team when he plays the Gators in "The Swamp." LSU could have two loses when they play Bama.

3. Braxton Miller will bring something positive to Ohio State by winning the Heisman Trophy. The nation thinks the Heisman Trophy will come down to Geno Smith(WVU) and Matt Barkley(USC). Braxton Miller is the best duel threat QB in the nation and has the stats to back him. Miller has 754 yards passing (7 TDs) and 441 yards rushing (7TDs). Miller will have an easier schedule to play than Barkley or Smith.

4. The Florida Gators have the best defense. I know what you're thinking...Alabama has given up only 5.3 pts game with 6 INTs and LSU 10.3 pts per game with 8 INTs. The Gators have given up 12.86 pts a game with 6 INTs, but they have played better offenses like Tennessee and Texas A&M.  The biggest difference is the eye test.

5. Florida State has a chance to run the table. Along with a strong defense, FSU has NC State, Miami,Fla., and Virginia Tech left to play in conference. The last game of the regular season against the Florida Gators will be their final test. FSU's great advantage: staying out of "The Swamp" when they play the Gators.

6. Missouri is lucky that they play Kentucky - at least they can earn one SEC win. At the beginning of the season, I thought James Franklin could hurt some of the teams in the SEC. I thought wrong! Missouri is having an awful year because of the speed on defense in the SEC and the lack of rush defense on their part.

7. No national championship contenders in the Big-10. Because of the penalties against Penn State and Ohio State, the Big-10 have only two teams left that have a shot at a title. The problem is those two teams who are still undefeated are Minnesota and Northwestern.

8. Boise State is not the same team. Kellen Moore and Titus Young have left for the NFL. The Broncos lost to Michigan State, plus barely edged out BYU by a score of 7-6.

9. Mike Leach hasn't had the results he did at Texas Tech. Mike Leach is accustomed to his teams having 1,000 yards passing after two games. Leach is not used to having the same amount of yards passing after four games. He's made an adjustment at QB with Connor Halliday who has improved their passing game. Given a few more years, I do see coach Leach building a passing machine at Washington State.

10. The SEC is still the best conference in the nation. I see LSU, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina all having a shot at winning the national title. I guarantee that Georgia will disappoint their fans when they play South Carolina, Florida, and even Tennessee. Noted: The SEC has the most active players in the NFL. (LSU-37 & UGA-37 tied for the most.)

Sweetheart's Stuff

You're kidding...it's only been four weeks? Time moves s l o w e r  in the football season.

Fine, let's all have sharing time of what we've learned so far.

10. I've learned that 10 of anything is too many.

4. My Lifetime Movie Network DVR recordings mysteriously disappear.

3. While Stuart is watching football, we could be robbed and he'd have no idea.

2. I now know what preschool each Georgia Bulldogs player attended.

1. A draft choice does not mean beer.

Sincerely,

Sweetheart
