The 2013 Colorado Buffaloes football is currently in hot water when it comes to their quarterbacks position for the 2013 college football season. The Buffaloes in a matter of one month have lost two of their prime quarterbacks. Quarterback Jordan Webb will miss the entire 2013 season with a ACL tear in which he sustained during a non-contact spring practice on April 10th. From there it only continues to get worse for the team. The Buffaloes got word last week that Jordan Webb's backup Nick Hirschman has decided to transfer from Colorado University.Hirschman has yet to announce what college he plans on transferring to for the 2013 College Football season but said that he really wants to transfer to an Ivy League school. Hirschman is a four-year junior quarterback who played two seasons for the Colorado Buffaloes before announcing that he will be transferring. During the spring time in 2011 and 2012 Hirschman went into spring ball to compete against Jordan Webb who came over from Kansas University and former Buffaloes quarterback Tyler Hansen. Nick lost both chances to win the starting quarterback role but was named backup to both quarterbacks in 2011 and also in 2012. In the time that Hirschman saw in the seasons with Colorado he passed for total of 781 yards, threw 2 touchdowns and was picked off 7 times. With Webb injured and Hirschman transferring it leaves the door open for Texas Longhorns transfer Connor Wood to come in and the open role. But don't count out Wood's backup's red-shirted freshman Shane Dillion and coming freshman quarterback Sefo Liufau.
