PLAYERS: Shea Cerio
Shea Cerio is a hometown hero in my neighboring city of Canastota, NY and I was happy to have him on for an NFL Draft Zone interview. In the humble small towns of Central NY, it is big news when a local chases their NFL dream, and that is exactly what Shea is doing. He attended the NFL Regional Combine in New Jersey, and hopes to secure the invite to Dallas, TX for the Super Regional Combine. Shea intimated that he received good feedback while in attendance at the Combine, and hopes to keep the dream going well into April. Cerio is a 6’0 170 pound place-kicker/punter for the D-2 Saint Anselm Hawks. As a punter, he carried a fine 37.3 average, with 16 punts placed inside the 20 yard line, and only 3 touchbacks.
