On Saturday night I noticed Parker Welch was slotted behind Aaron Murray. The first question to pop into my head was,  is LeMay injured? Then, I realized that it wasn’t an injury that kept LeMay off the field so, by virtue of common sense (or at least that’s what I’m calling it for the moment) that meant Welch must actually be ahead of LeMay on the depth chart— at least for now. Rattle that one around for a minute: Christian LeMay, a guy who was at one time a highly recruited prospect on the prep circuit, is slotted No. 2…behind a walk-on.
