On Saturday night I noticed Parker Welch was slotted behind Aaron Murray. The first question to pop into my head was,  is LeMay injured? Then, I realized that it wasn’t an injury that kept LeMay off the field so, by virtue of common sense (or at least that’s what I’m calling it for the moment) that meant Welch must actually be ahead of LeMay on the depth chart— at least for now. Rattle that one around for a minute: Christian LeMay, a guy who was at one time a highly recruited prospect on the prep circuit, is slotted No. 2…behind a walk-on. No disrespect is intended to Parker Welch, by any means, but you have to wonder what on earth has happened to Christian LeMay? Welch, to his credit, says he’s not saying one way or the other if his appearance ahead of LeMay in the game this past Saturday means he’s Georgia’s second best option, but he did state that, prior to the Vanderbilt game, he was getting the bulk of the reps with the No. 2 team. “I had known for several days that I would be the first one going in as I’d been doing the 2′s [...]
