After a stellar debut season at Georgia, Jarvis Jones could've moved on to the NFL.
Instead, he came back for another year with the seventh-ranked Bulldogs, figuring there were still plenty he needed to work on.
So, it shouldn't be a surprise that Jones didn't relish his remarkable performance against Missouri. He just wanted to focus on the things he didn't do right.
It's that sort of attitude that has transformed the junior linebacker into one of the country's top defensive players. If Jones has a few more games like he did last week - two forced fumbles, two sacks, an interception he nearly brought back for a touchdown - he could get some serious consideration for the Heisman Trophy.

Former Georgia Bulldogs’ target Mario Alford is making waves at Georgia Military College but, as of now, it is unclear if the Dawgs will shoot an offer his way. Alford at one time stated a desire to play in Athens and has made it known that that he wants to attend an SEC school. Since that time, however, Alford has named Ole Miss as his leader and there hasn’t appeared to be...
Georgia: The Bulldogs have a stud gamebreaker in defensive end Jarvis Jones. In a scenario that will play out again, Mizzou took a lead but lacked the overall depth to compete deep into the second half which is where wins are secured in this conference. UGA is playing well, and building depth on defense as key Georgia defenders continue to miss time. Georgia has...
ATHENS - The toughest part, Sanders Commings said, came last Saturday when the player who started 23 games the past two seasons watched at home in Athens as Georgia’s defense went up against Missouri’s spread offense.
