Last week I wrote a comparison between two non-AQ conference QBs and their potential Heisman prospects. [UPDATE!!!!!!: Sources have confirmed that the ACC is actually an AQ conference.] Yesterday I ran across this article on ESPN that is hyping up some more small program QBs and I thought I’d delve into that a little. (If you hate my Heisman focus just let me know in the comments and then I’ll know that you hate it when I’m writing another post about the Heisman race.) There is a lot of noise right now among the draft pundit class that 2014 will be the deepest QB draft in quite some time. Right now the headliner for NFL types is Teddy Bridgewater, while the college hype machine is more focused on Braxton Miller, AJ McCarron, and Johnny Manziel (yeah, yeah, funny link for that but I think HP’s list is a little bit nutty and will change drastically in short order).
