Florida State's defense received a boost for 2012 on Monday, as cornerback Xavier Rhodes said he will pass on the NFL draft and return to school.
Perhaps for the first time since Leonard Hamilton has been at Florida State, it is fair to question not only the talent on the roster but also the effort the Seminoles are giving on the basketball court.
Florida State exhibited its trademark dominating D in the first half, and while Virginia Tech managed to put the ball in the hoop more consistently in the second half, the Seminoles still pulled out an ACC win.
