Manti Te'o and Barrett Jones are two of college football's good guys and best players.
The Notre Dame linebacker and Alabama center have led their teams into the BCS championship after postponing NFL paychecks to return for their senior seasons. They're good academically and have collected numerous awards and honors for football.
Coaches say Te'o and Jones are just what they want in players - and they're what the sport needs after wave upon wave of scandal that has stretched from State College, Pa. to Miami over the past couple of years.
Notre Dame defensive coordinator Bob Diaco says Te'o is even ''a better person'' than he is a player.
Tide coach Nick Saban has called Jones ''as fine a person as you're ever going to be around.''

There are a lot of people who are a part of the sneaker game. In there, you will most likely see sneakerheads, collectors, resellers and hypebeasts. Notre Dame-Alabama t-shirt war rages on
We’ve all seen the anti-Alabama shirts lately by Notre Dame fans. Jimmy Clausen, former Notre Dame quarterback, tweeted a picture of one. There was one that insinuated all Alabama Crimson Tide fans lived in mobile homes. Now, Alabama fans are fighting back with t-shirts of their own. Trust me ND fans. You do not want to get this fan base riled up. Bad things happen. HT Rovell

Alabama Crimson Tide unveil Nike Pro Combat jerseys for National Championship
I think these jerseys are absolutely outstanding. Â I wish more universities would do this. Â Alabama has some of the best jerseys in college football, so why mess with them? Â All they did was update the material used and kept the same clean look. Â They have a recognizable tradition, so why mess it up with a gimmick? Â Very nice job by Nike and the Crimson Tide Athletic Department...
