When the Central Michigan Chippewas take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in tonight’s Little Caesar’s Pizza Bowl, they will be doing so with a lack of quite a few top offensive weapons. The Chippewas have announced that they have suspended three players, including two of their top wide receivers, for tonight’s game at Ford Field. Central Michigan made it official on Monday, announcing that Titus Davis, Defarrell Davis and Courtney Williams will all miss all of the Little Caesar’s Pizza Bowl on Wednesday night following an undisclosed violation of team policy. “Our student-athletes operate in accordance with an established code of conduct, and they are held accountable for upholding those standards,” Central Michigan’s athletic director Dave Heeke said in a statement. “We are looking forward to a great bowl experience for our program and fans and a great game against Western Kentucky.” They will just have to do so without two of their top receivers, making it a much larger challe...
