PLAYERS: Chance Warmack
It was a 1st round for the big boys, and Chance Warmack looks to be a good fit for Tennessee. The OG played for Alabama and played well for them since his freshmen year. He is a big guy, coming in at 6'2" and 317 pounds; he should fit in well with the Titans. He was a top National recruit when he came out of Westlake High School in Atlanta. He can also add a second team All SEC team selection in 2011 to his resume.Warmack looks to be a good value for the team.He went as the 10th overall pick. He is good at his job. He doesn't have the blinding speed, but he does seem to be technically sound and good at picking up his assignments. He wins more of his battles with the defensive linemen than he loses, and with some polishing and effort, he will be a beast for Tennessee. I am fairly impressed with Warmack so far, and of course the NFL is the big stage and we will have to see how he works out on it.If there is a knock to him, it is his speed. At times he will stand straight up,...

First Round NFL Draft Grades: Tennessee Titans

PICK: Chance Warmack, G, AlabamaANALYSIS: This is a great pick for the Titans. Pairing Warmack with Levitre will give Tennessee the best guard combination in all of the NFL. CJ2K won't have any excuses anymore. The best part about this pick is that they got him after Cooper was taken, as Warmack is much better. Even if Tennessee wanted Cooper more, in a few years they'll...

Chris Johnson tweets major support of Chance Warmack selection by Titans

After selecting former Alabama star Chance Warmack, running back Chris Johnson tweeted out his support of the choice.

Titans take Warmack with 10th pick

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have a strong track record when it comes to drafting offensive guards in the first round. Alabama's Chance Warmack wants to make sure he keeps the trend going. Tennessee continued reconstructing the interior of its offensive line Thursday by selecting Warmack with the 10th overall pick in the NFL draft, the first time the Titans have...

Titans GM: Warmack was 'our guy all along'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The old guard introducing the new guard wasnt exactly a changing of the guard for the Tennessee Titans. But there sat Chance Warmack, the mammoth Alabama lineman who the Titans made the 10th overall pick Thursday night in the first round of the NFL Draft. Flanking his left at the introductory media conference here late Friday afternoon was Titans head coach Mike...

Tennessee Titans Select Offensive Guard Chance Warmack 10th Overall

1.10 Tennessee Titans Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama (6-2, 317) Chance Warmack was selected as the tenth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. Warmack spent the last three seasons anchoring the offensive line for two BCS national championship teams, opening up running lanes for the likes of Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson over the last three seasons. Warmack is...

Tennessee Titans select G Chance Warmack with 10th pick

Well, the obvious happened. When their first round selection, number ten overall rolled around, the Titans had a choice of a couple standout defensive players in defensive tackles Sharrif Floyd and Star Lotulelei, but that didn't deter them from taking the player it seemed like they'd been destined to take since early January, Alabama guard Chance Warmack. Warmack was...

Nick Saban has already surpassed Bear Bryant feat

They may need to build a second statue in Tuscaloosa with the way things are going for Nick Saban. It may be easy to simply say that Alabama’s head coach is simply living off the prestige of a program that is long free of NCAA violations, but that wouldn’t exactly be fair. Obviously, the Crimson Tide does hold a certain cache within college football, but Saban is easily among...

And with 10h overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft the Tennessee Titans select…

Chance Warmack from the University of Alabama. This is a great pick for the Titans as they struggled mightily to open holes for Chris Johnson and protect the QB.  A star in a sky full of stars from the SEC, Warmack is big just like most of the guys selected in the first 10 picks of the draft. As a junior in 2011, he started 13 more games and helped Alabama win the 2012 BCS National...

Titans Draft Alabama Guard Chance Warmack Tenth Overall, Making Chris Johnson Very Happy

Offensive linemen flew off the board like never before during the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night. Three of the top four picks were used on big men, as were five of the top 10. Casual football fans usually do not appreciate the talents of these men in the trenches, which may lead many to view this draft as a boring one. But don’t include Titans running back Chris Johnson...
