There may be no team in the country more excited to start the 2013 football season than Notre Dame, which wants to quickly erase memories of a January 7th loss to Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game.
The Irish will have a new look this season, as they lose several stars in players such as Manti Te’o, Everett Golson, and Kapron Lewis-Moore, among others. But there are some new faces ready to step in and build upon the success that occurred last fall.
One of those faces (and it’s not that new) belongs to Tommy Rees, the senior quarterback who has had an up-and-down career so far for Notre Dame. How the program ultimately will remember him depends upon his 2013 campaign, which will actually be the first one that he enters as the unquestioned starter.
