Antwaan Randle El
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Kent State Golden Flashes
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -- Denard Robinson looked like his old, efficient self Saturday.
The Michigan quarterback rushed 24 times for 235 yards, threw for one touchdown and helped lead the Wolverines to a 44-13 rout at Purdue.
It was a stark contrast to the frustrated quarterback who wound up apologizing for his sub-par performance at Notre Dame two weeks ago.
But with two weeks to prepare for the game, Robinson atoned for any mistakes he made against the Fighting Irish. The senior was 8 of 15 through the air and did not throw an interception for the first time this season. He also had three runs of 35 yards or longer and consistently moved the Wolverines (3-2, 1-0 Big Ten) into scoring position on another milestone day.
Robinson became the Big Ten's career rushing leader among quarterbacks, passing Indiana's Antwaan Randle El (3,895) midway through the fourth quarter. Robinson now has 3,905 yards and broke a tie with Kent State's Josh Cribbs to move into fifth pla...

After the very disturbing, not to mention embarrassing and demoralizing performance at Notre Dame the Wolverine Nation was on suicide alert for this season. The questions were abounding.
Could Denard come back? Could the team bounce back from the demoralizing...

Big Ten Football Week 6 ReviewWeek 6 Record: 4-1…..Record so far: 44-13 77.1%Michigan State-31 Indiana-27…..CORRECT…..Whew!…Why does Mark Dantonio come out in games like these and start throwing the ball around like he has Geno Smith at QB?…why not lean on your HB and let the passing game come to you instead of cramming it down your opponents throats?…it...
Well, breathing time is over. It’s back to work for Team 133 as they return to the road to take on the surprise Purdue Boilermakers in West Lafayette and begin the B1G season.
Purdue is 3-1, boasts the 22nd best rush defense in the country, has eight interceptions and is another team that has a very stout defensive line led by monster senior Kawann Short. So once again the...
Michigan – Purdue U 59
I’ve seen all four Michigan games this season and I’ll assume that HC Brady Hoke knows what he is doing in trying to turn Denard Robinson into a pocket passer, but I’ll admit I am not seeing it. Robinson definitely does not look comfortable in the pocket and his passing numbers have suffered. His pass efficiency is down, his completion percentage is...
Denard Robinson rushed for 235 yards and Fitzgerald Toussaint scored twice to help Michigan rout Purdue 44-13 on Saturday afternoon.
The Wolverines (3-2, 1-0 Big Ten) have won three straight over Purdue.
The Boilermakers (3-2, 0-1 Big Ten) lost at home for only the second time since Oct. 1, 2011.
It was a banner day for Robinson in his first game back from a dismal performance...
Michigan (2-2) @ Purdue (3-1) (4 p.m. ET, BTN)
Line: Michigan -3
Last meeting: Michigan 36-14 (2011)
3 Players to Watch:
1) Denard Robinson (QB, Michigan): On average, he chucks up two picks per game. Last time out against Notre Dame, Robinson threw four intercpetions. He is increasingly becoming a liability for the Michigan offense. If Michigan is...
ANN ARBOR -- In sports, it's generally considered an obvious move to focus your defensive game plan against your opponent's best offensive weapon. For instance, Bob Melvin isn't likely to tell his Oakland A's pitching staff to walk Don Kelly in order to face Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera, and no NFL defense has ever focused on stopping the Lions' Titus Young while...
