This is one of those stories that might be the stupidest thing you’ll ever read, if it weren’t such a great life lesson in why you should never hire a $50 prostitute, and if you do anyway, why you you should always, always pay them.  If they’re charging so little for their services, they’re either a) not very good/attractive, or b) desperate for money.  If someone is willing to sell their body for a mere $50, it’s a good bet that they’re also willing to do whatever they can to recoup their losses, up to and including breaking and entering.

Three SMU Mustangs football players were the victims of a home robbery this past April 28, which included $3,000 worth of laptops, televisions and video games.  However, the alleged suspect could end up getting the guys in some hot water of their own, as one of the players, Uchenna Nwabuike, claims that the person who broke into their house and stole their stuff was a hooker/escort/prostitute that Nwabuike had agreed to pay $50 for sex with, only to stiff the young lady out of her payment.

From CBS DFW…

One of the players, identified as Uchenna Nwabuike, told police he believed the person responsible for the thefts was an escort. The linebacker from Missouri City went on to tell authorities that he had, “made a deal with the suspect to have sex with her for $50.”

In the police report, Nwabuike admitted that, “he did not pay the suspect for the acts that she performed” and left the woman in the home alone while the players attended the banquet.

The cops haven’t been able to locate the suspect or the stolen goods.  SMU claims it was unaware of the events surrounding the robbery, but know that they know the details, surely there will be some fallout, at the very least for Uchenna Nwabuike, as there’s no clear evidence that the other two housemates had any connection to the prostitute.

Moral of the story—while getting a hooker is never a great idea, being a SMU football player and stiffing a $50 hooker is the worst idea imaginable.
