Both teams are legit this season, but more importantly the Gamecocks are attempting for their fourth straight victory (would be most consecutive since 1951-1954) Jadeveon Clowney’s services were not needed against FCS opponent Wofford, but the Gamecocks will be running into a different animal with Clemson. The Tigers are coming off an emphatic 62-48 victory over NC State, which is where Tajh Boyd threw an ACC-record 8 total TD. Boyd has a ton of playmakers that would be All-American superstars on SEC squads and this is a major statement type of game to earn back some of that disrespect from the BCS computers.
